About AI and AI Practitioner

AI Practitioner is brought to the world by a partnership between the David L. Cooperrider Center for Appreciative Inquiry, and Kessels & Smit, The Learning Company.

Read the announcement of the partnership here.

  • We aim to build a community of individuals and organisations. Our goal is to support a flourishing community of AI practitioners who in turn support each other in their workpractices.
  • We are especially interested in collaborating with universities, where both rigorous research and future generations of activists and ambassadors are created.
  • Together we can create a movement that helps build an appreciative, curious, democratic society. We can make AI Practitioner the platform for an Appreciative (R)evolution.

AI Practitioner is designed to highlight examples, case studies and research on strength-based approaches to change with special emphasis on Appreciative Inquiry. AI is about the search for the best in people, their organisations and the relevant world around them. At its broadest, Appreciative Inquiry involves the systematic discovery of what gives ‘life’ to a person, a system, an organisation,  a community when it is most alive, most effective and most constructively capable of supporting the triple bottom line of people, planet and profits.
