Cultivating Radical Curiosity as the Fuel of Appreciative Inquiry Research

ABSTRACT

In this article, we explore the significance of adopting awe-seeking and radical curiosity as an intentional research posture. After detailing the interconnectedness of awe and Appreciative Inquiry, we propose rekindling the art of appreciatively questioning and cultivating radical curiosity as a skill that is a needed addition in the preparation of future researchers who are able to generate the future-forming scholarship called for in the world today.

Cooperrider Center for Appreciative Inquiry and co-publisher of AI Practitioner.
