ABSTRACT

In a challenging and involuntary role-change process in a traditional industrial environment, a spontaneous opening appeared so that room for man-to-man appreciation could be made, leading to a greater level of humanity, concern and community. This contributed to a feeling of safety among the work group, which in turn supported and expedited acceptance of the change.
