This article illustrates the transformative power of Appreciative Inquiry through the story of Josh, an eight-year-old learning to identify daily positives. He discovers that happy people don’t just experience happiness – they actively create it. This insight, which the author terms ‘Appreciative Impulsion’, highlights how focusing on positivity not only changes one’s internal outlook but also manifests in the external world.
