ABSTRACT

To ‘child-proof’ an environment is to make it safe for all of us, to provide a space where dangers that we may not recognise have been made secure so that we all can play, explore and thrive. The author and his partner felt the calling to explore the idea of creating an environment in the Netherlands and Germany – and beyond – in which we all, keeping in mind children and grandchildren, can thrive.
