In Loving Memory of Anne Radford, 1944–2025

In 1998, Anne planted a seed: the AI Practitioner. What began as a humble newsletter blossomed into an international journal of theory, practice and inspiration – now with something over 1,200 published articles. She created a worldwide treasure house for Appreciative Inquiry and the voices and visions of many: sharing stories from the field, advancing solid theoretical foundations, providing book reviews, calling on young new voices, and bringing innovative practices to keep our work alive and thriving. Her legacy is a living forest – one that continues to grow, rooted in courage, community and curiosity. She showed us that even in the face of uncertainty, we can meet the world boldly with openness, care and reverence for life.
