ABSTRACT

Amjad Mohamed-Saleem’s article reflects on a multi-year, organization-wide Appreciative Inquiry journey within the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies. The process reframed deeply rooted organizational tensions as generative opportunities and shifted focus from deficit-based problem-solving toward collective strengths, lived experience, and shared aspirations. Appreciative Inquiry functioned as a form of relational infrastructure, enabling diverse voices to be heard, fostering shared ownership, and supporting the co-creation of organizational change.
