ABSTRACT

This article explores the long-term impact of Appreciative Inquiry training, focusing on whether training transfer persisted over time. Interviews with teachers revealed that Appreciative Inquiry became embedded in their school culture, influencing policies, staff relationships and communication. The SOAR framework provided rich insights into the teachers’ strengths, opportunities and aspirations. This study advocates for increased reflective opportunities in education, providing time for individuals to consider their personal growth and achievements.
