Trading Stigma for Confidence in Menstrual Health Efforts in Kenya

ABSTRACT

As part of a three-year, multi-country action research initiative to understand the linkages between menstrual health and women’s economic empowerment, a small team of researchers and practitioners facilitated a half-day Appreciative Inquiry workshop with women-identifying employees of a factory just outside of Nairobi, Kenya to ask: Could workplace conditions for people who menstruate be improved?
