ABSTRACT

A chance conversation led to the introduction of Appreciative Inquiry into one of the most challenging environments in Great Britain, the prison system, which has been starved of funding for a decade. This article discusses the benefits of introducing Appreciative Inquiry to a group who have little control over their future and little to look forward to.
