ABSTRACT

In this short article, the author describes an encounter in a doctor’s waiting room in Germany. In a crowded waiting room, Bettina helps an elderly woman relying on a walker by encouraging her to hum a favourite tune. They gently dance together to the tune, earning applause from the other patients.
