The AI Dilemma

Emyr Jones is a consultant pharmacist with the National Health Service in Wales, UK and a part-time Ph.D. candidate at Cardiff University’s School of Pharmacy. His research explores social workers’ positive contributions of to medicines management using an Appreciative Inquiry approach.His work aims to foster collaboration between health and social care professionals, ultimately enhancing patient outcomes and holistic care.

Dr Rowan Yemm is a pharmacist and has been a lecturer in the School of Pharmacy at Cardiff University for eleven years, currently leading the postgraduate Pharmacist Independent Prescribing course. Her research focuses on experiences of healthcare with a special interest in health psychology and behaviour change.

Dr Mat Smith is a reader and Director of Learning and Teaching at Cardiff University. A pharmacist by training, he practises in the community setting. His pedagogic interests lie in the design, implementation and evaluation of interprofessional education. Mat’s research focuses on improving older adults’ health in social care by the optimisation of prescribing decision making and the seamless care of patients across healthcare settings.
