ABSTRACT

In 2014, a preliminary review of literature found that Appreciative Inquiry practitioners indicated a need for further research into AI success and failure, identifying the processes and levers that lead to an outcome, and to fill
the gaps in AI literature. This study explored the use of AI as a methodology for change by US municipalities.
