Potential for Transformation

ABSTRACT

In Rosalynn Carter has contended that there are only four types of people in this world: those who are caregivers, those who have been caregivers, those who will be caregivers and those who will need caregivers. In 2016, Kenneth Doka wrote that grief is a reaction to loss. But with caregivers, grief often is a multifaceted reaction. Their grief holds infinite possibilities as it carries the potential for transformation. This article explores the possibility and an approach to transformation from such grief.
