ABSTRACT

Freddie Crous provides a personal account of a critical life event which resulted in him crossing the world for an encounter with AI. He subsequently introduced AI to the university department where he works as well as to other university programmes in South Africa. Freddie discusses how he applies AI for consulting purposes, as a research and teaching method, as a leadership approach, and for working with communities.

He is known for his contributions to Positive Industrial Psychology in general and in particular for applying Appreciative Inquiry in his personal life, teaching, research and consulting.
