ABSTRACT

This article describes the process and tools used in facilitating each stage of the Pause, Reboot, SOAR program, including challenges in implementation and strategies to improve future iterations of academic recovery programming to increase student retention and persistence to graduation.

For the last 10 years, Lauren Bruneau has worked in higher education as the director of Academic Support and Coaching Services and an adjunct professor in Education at Champlain College in Burlington, Vermont.
