Developing a Participative Company Strategy at Netherlands Railways

ABSTRACT

Netherlands Railways, the main railway organization in the Netherlands, employs 34,000 people. The organisation is facing disruptive changes in the field of mobility. As consultants and Appreciative Inquiry practitioners with Kessels & Smit, The Learning Company, the authors were asked to support a participative process to develop a new strategy to address the issue of mobility and access.
